8 inch rims?

    Can I go with 14x8rims and tires on the front of my 73 Maverick without any clearance issues?

    WAY to wide in my opinion.

    O.K......maybe not WAY......but I wouldn't want that wide on the front. I have 8" wide wheels on the rear of my car.

    7's are a better fit for the front. 8's will give you some twitchy handling depending on the backspace difference between the 8's and 7's

    I also agree on not going wider than 7" on the front.
