70 Maverick " Project Bad Mav 2" Street/Track build Project "Bad Mav 2" is back Ok so I sold my fox body notchback stangs and found this guys number again after 10 months ..and he still had the mav so we came up with a price and im picking it up tomorrow... The Mav was an old SCCA road racing car..6 cylinder with a 4 speed..full roll cage and all the period correct stuff..She raced at the now closed and famous Bridgehampton International Race track here on Long Island and at Lime Rock park in CT as well ..he is trying to find the log book for the car..I will see what everything is like, and bring her back to life. The plan is to have a Track car I can drive on the street..pics to follow after tomorrow..
The owner told me today that this car still holds the Lap Record for a Maverick at Bridgehampton Raceway..He is still trying to find the Log book .. his name is Brian Greck..and the car ran with EMRA..in the 80`s Check out the custom lower spoiler....
Yep and I told my Grandaughter that my 70 took first of all the Mavericks at the "Run to the Pines" car show. Course, it was the only one there.

Bring it BACK! Do you know what the engine specs were? I'm always interested in the straight six stuff.
