    Hey guys...Does anyone know how to wire up and 85 mustang gt dizzy in a Maverick V8? Thanks guys!

    What kind cam do you have? Did the dizzy come from an auto or manual? And are you going to use a duraspark module or an MSD box? Either way you can find hundreds of write ups on google. There's one on here also in the tech article section. Under "duraspark swap".

    Got it. Thanks! I was just gonna go stock ignition. I guess that would work! Haaa...... The diz is from a manual btw....

    Make sure your using the right disty gear for the cam in your engine.

    If you have a roller cam your golden. If you have a flat tappet then you need to swap out the gear on the dizzy to a cast iron/sintered metal one.

    the 85 distributor should just plug into your duraspark box.

    That's just it. I don't have a duraspark box. Guess I gotta get one.....or an MSD. :)

    you can get a dura spark box, any aftermarket ignition box that works with a magnetic trigger like msd, or you can use a gm hei module.
