    Hi Brian

Our racing regulations over here require us to have roll cages like this, I plan to circuit race this car so fast is what I aim to achieve :thumbs2:

Its the only way blasting the whole car, It had 40 years of paint and quite a few layers too.

The cage was designed and fitted by me, took some time but the results were worth it. Will keep updating as I get further long with it.

I cant waint to get it finished (hopefully by july) as we have a race car festival that I really what to attend

Looks good. What motor are you planning on running? I assume by circuit you are talking about a road course? Looking forward to seeing what you do with the suspension.:thumbs2:

By circuit racing I mean race tracks, we have loads over here. I race with the Classic Touring Car club which caters for all sorts from the 60's up to the 90's.

    www.csccgb.co.uk

Its running a 302 with 4 speed toplaoder which I have not started yet and the suspension has to be fairly stock in design but with some mod's allowed. I have new 4 leaf springs (lowererd 2 inches) with anti sway bar and adjustable shocks on the rear. On the front I have all new joints and arms etc with heavier duty springs lowered 2 inchs, larger sway bar and adjustable shocks. Wont know how it handles till its complete but im sure it will be fun.

Will keep you all posted on my progress

Looks like you've made good progress there, Phil. At this rate you'll have yours race ready before I get my engine back in and get my grabber back on the road.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you source your springs? Uk or shipped? How did you make the Sway bar?

    Look forward to seeing more

Sorry for the delay in replying, I sourced the springs from the US I think they were from Laurel Mountain Mustangs but I may be wrong.
