I’m in the process of rebuilding a 76’ A/C box. My question is how to remove the fresh/recirc flap and the temp flap. I’m guessing that you probably have to unbend the tabs on the flaps that are folded around the pivot shaft then the pivot pulls out the side? IMG_1319.jpeg IMG_1318.jpeg

Thanks. This mostly worked. I was able to get the temp pivot out but the recirc was rusted in there. Started to damage to box so had to cut the folded over part so I could pry the flap open to remover the rod. Need to go post a wanted ad now.
