    Will whore to start !!!!

The easiest way is to find a 71 / 72 mav / comet and pull everyting under the dash including the dash and you will have all the parts you need ,( this is what I did ) get a paper templit of the a/c side of the fire wall the holes are differant .. Get the heater - a/c controls , vaccum lines control cables every thing you can get .. Replace heater core , pressure a/c evap. core , reseal heater doors replace H block ( expanion valve ) check ALL vaccum motors get ALL DEFROSTER ducting . Than you will have all the parts you need under the dash then you can start under the hood as I did ..

I know this does not awnsere your question but I hope it helps ..

I did my a/c install for under 1000. with ALL new parts under the hood ..

    a/c parts

Well I think this mav had a/c but some point one of the owners yanked most of it out. The controls on the dash indicate a/c options and the dash has the a/c vents. I have yet to yank out the whole system to see what lies underneath.. (should be this friday I'll have my answer) In the meantime I was going to scout out the boneyard

    thanks

The blower motor is located under the dash not in the firewall into engine bay. Does this mean the climate box is a/c?(for note there are no fixtures coming out of the firewall for heating or cooling)

    Thanks
