Floorpans. Where in the world can I get new floorpans for a '74 Mav, 2 door?

You can not get new floor pans for these cars. You will have to make your own from sheet metal or cut them out of another car.

Speaking of which... I am finishing up my floorpans tonight.. I used 18 ga sheetmetal. Made a template from cardboard and traced it onto the sheetmetal, which I cut out with a plasma cutter (man I love those things!), then persuade it into shape with vice grips and a sledgehammer. If you can find a wrecker with good floorpans (because we can't be cutting up good mavs with rust-free floorpans :p) and cut them out, that would be the easiest to put in. Someone on here (was it dmhines?) used Mustang pans and altered them to fit. Not sure how much adapting he had to do, but they looked nice.

A friend of ours once bought a Jeep to go four wheeling with. One day while washing the mud off the bottom of the Jeep he discovered the floor pans were made out of street signs. There was a stop sign on the drivers side and a yield sign on the passengers side. He said they were the only parts on the Jeep that never rusted out.:)
