I need some measurements from a stock suspension with stock tire size Maverick/Comet. I need to know how many inches from the center rear wheel well to the ground?

 

Not sure what year you have or if this will help but here are some frame dimensions for a 71..

I have been trying to figure out how much my leaf springs have came down from stock. I need to order knew leafs and I need to have them de-arched when ordered. Right now the rear sits at 26" from the ground to the top of the wheel well.

 

Here's mine, the same day I installed the ESPO four leaf, springs.

 

What's the measurement after you install the new leafs? Did you get any de-arching?

 

That is with the new leafs, no de arching.

That measurement also depends on what size tires you have.

 

Here's mine with new four-leaf springs on a 26.9" dia. tire.

 

My tires, are 25.4" diameter, 14" 70 series, as close as I could get to the stock size.

 

Thanks. I guess I will order the leafs with a 2" drop. I knew stock would be to tall for the rear. My tire is 26" and its seems that the driver's side sits lower than the passenger by about 1/2".
