It is rather simple my gauge lights don't illuminate anymore. But I did find the blown fuse, and there is no wording around the slot for this fuse or can I make out the amp for it. Can someone lend a hand here?

My Chilton's manual confirms 4 amp.

Today I've installed the 4amp fuse but, It blew as soon as I installed it. Of course I've trace the wire to see if I could find a short but, all the wiring seems find and ok. Does anyone have any opinions on how to solve this problem? (My dad was murmuring something about checking the marker lights, because they are linked somehow, does something like this even sound remotely correct?)

I am not sure what is linked but it is simple to find out. Take the fuse out and see what does not work. Check those items. You might need a new or (used) insturnment panel it could be shorted out.

Someone on here has the wiring diagrams for each year, you could see what all is on that circuit.
