ok, i am a die hard mav grabber fan, but i have always loved the gt hood scoop. especially how i saw it in the pcs of that shelby gt.
anyway, i got this idea yesterday of taking and mixing the 2.
you'd have the mav smaller side scoops with the large ram air in the middle. check these pics and think about it.
i think it would be freaking KEWL!
never seen anything like it and it would look tough as hell (and still function as a ram air if you bought the eq.)
ok, ok, that 429 boss scoop might be too big, yawn, we find a smaller one of the same design. just the idea..=)

Been discussed a few times before. There is a picture floating around here somewhere of a car with it done. I personally don't think it looks right.

If you do it, do it on a fiberglass hood....not a steel original one....

No! Your going to mess up a good grabber hood and then you'll have so many scoops on your hood the ricers will even be making fun of you.

Wasting a good GT scoop on a dumb old grabber hood just aint right. I use grabber hoods for patch panels. :D

Agreed. Wasting Comet parts to improve a Maverick is just weird. :dancing::bananaman
