Hi Maverick Experts. It's a pleasure to be on the forum with you. I recently bought a 1974 Maverick 4-door with a V-8 and auto trans. I want to restore it for my grandson Maverick and give it to his dad and mom as a 2nd car. What new family starting out with 2 kids doesn't need a good, reliable second car, right? Anyway, I'm planning on rebuilding the engine and trans, brakes and shocks all around, and re-doing some of the crappy body work that's on the car.
