hello guys,it's dosalazar70,i was informed of a parked maverick a few weeks ago.the gentleman that told me of my current car,the 69.5 2 door, gave me better directions,so i went looking for it,after several tries, and low and behold,i found it!it appears to be a'74 or '75,2 door, big bumpered.looks like it's been parked for quite a while.the sun down here in el paso,tx.bakes everything.of what i was told, and what i saw, some mechanic was going to do some engine work to it,and left it disassembled,a common occurence in this area.i rang the door bell,no answer,so i left a note, stating i can get your car running,or i will take it off your hands at a a fair price.well,no calls yet.i have parts left over from my '75 4-door,which i have since sent it to car heaven, unfortunately,it was beyond restoration, but served its purpose.looking at this one,the body is a bit straighter than my 69.5,but it's going to need engine work, and who knows what else.what should i offer the person, could use some insight?is it case of we want more,we want more!i look forward to the challenge.still have a lot of work to do on the 69.5,it gets me around, and it gets a lot of attention in the state its in!
Get used to it. I find a lot of posts that look like these came from a phone. Punctuation and sentence structure are forgotten art forms now. SPark
