Does someone here have a picture of the Addco rear sway-bar? I'd like to know what the difference in shape is between it and the stock 3/4" front bar...

I have some kind of aftermarket sway bar. Pulled it off of one of my parts cars. Dont know who made it but I'd guess its a JC Whitney product. Want a pic of that? Its for sale if any one is interested. I'm probably going to bring it to the Roundup.

    rear sway bar

A rear sway bar on a Maverick is a waste of time and money. These cars are naturally tail happy when pushed. By adding a rear sway bar , it stiffens the rear of the car and makes the loose conditon even worse.

That's when you just put an even bigger front bar on it...counters the over-steer...

I have an Addco rear bar. I have to dig it out of the shed to take a picture.

I dunno. I upgraded to a 3/4" front bar and added a smaller rear bar to my Mav and I like the handling. I hated the excessive body roll I used to get when making hard turns...it takes corners much flatter now. Then again, I have been told that power steering and power brakes are a waste of time in a Mav too and I love mine. I am weird I guess ;)

    Anyway, here's pics:

Mark, in that photo, your fuel line looks dangerously close to the tailpipe. I would wrap it with insulated tape.

Mark, thanks for the very nice, clear, detailed photos! It's cool that the aftermarket auto parts suppliers are still making stuff for these cars!
