It took way too long to get here with a line of excuses longer than my arm but over time I put in a rebuilt 60 over 302 w/ a 650 double pumper. It has ceramic Hooker hedders and a fresh 4 speed Toploader. With my brothers help, I did all the work myself (not bad for a network geek)

As some will remember, this was Lonnie's car. I bought it 4 years ago from him without an engine or trans. He did a fantastic job with the build and I had it as my desktop background before he even offered it up for sale. :yup:

Many thanks to many on this board, I was able to track down the hard to find parts to make this beauty the 4-speed it deserved.

I have plans over the next few months for a Detroit locker, disc brakes in the back and CalTracs.

Not sure where Lonnie went but if someone would let him know its finally running and send him a link, I would appreciate that. He really deserves praise for it!(y)

'Looks excellent. 060 over is not a good idea for a smallblock Ford.
'Too late now though, I guess.

That car was at the first Gathering in Elizabethtown, Ky. Beautiful car! Lonnie did a very nice job on it the first time and you are doing a great job this time. Enjoy, hopefully I 'll see it again. I know he regrets selling it, told me once that he wanted to buy it back, guess that won't happen now... :)
