I'm looking for aftermarket seats which are more in the style of low back buckets. I like the ones on 1966 mustangs. I've looked around a lot for that style and if I'm gonna spend 300-400 for a set then might as well purchase new I thought. But is there anything like that out there?

To tell the truth, there probably isn't anything modern and lowback.
They were ruled unsafe back in the 60s. That is why they went to highback buckets.

In a wreck, lowbacks don't support the upper part of your body, which in some cases can do very violent things to you.

On another subject, old Stangs used to be available with a 'sport bench' seat.
Those are really neat. Probably not what you are looking for. However, just for giggles: The seat looks just like lowback Stang seats. The only difference is the bottoms are connected by a 'bridge' of sorts, that makes them one, bench seat.
I saw one of those in the junkyard last summer and was impressed. Even the seat cover looks like it is made directly from the Stang bucket covers, just with a piece of material sewn between the bottoms.

80-90 Camaro buckets have a lower back when compared to my 94 camaro seats. The camaro buckets lined up with the existing holes from the bench seat. outside holes anyways did line up. Had to mark and drill for inner holes.these look great in my car.:D

There is a 1966 mustang seats that are low backs bukets for $125. I'm gonna jump on that. It comes with the tracks. Should I hunt down maverick tracks and install those onto the seats or use the tracks that come with the seats?

I used the mustang brackets with some modification. I know you cant see the brackets but you can see the seats in my gallery.
