Went to the Big Bucks bracket yesterday at Carolina Dragway, last race of the season, bowed out in the 4th round on a -.004 redlight, had a good time and it's a great track, someone took home 10 grand for their effort. Hometrack opens again in mid February, gives me 2 months to get my upgrades done. Next year is gonna be a blast..
Thats a great pic! Man, you must be pleases with how that car is coming along. Next season give them hell!
rick, great pic. i showed this pic. to Effie, and she said..."i knew it when it was a baby"... ...frank...
that is an AWESOME shot... good lob... hope it didnt scare the "tar" out of you too badly.. good luck next year... you know .. you could get one of those reaction testers for the winter time and start practicing... Santa is coming soon !
Alan a couple of months ago a throttle plate screw worked it's way out of the carb and down on to the #2 piston, fortunatley this happenned as I was idling into the staging lanes and I shut it down before it did much damage, we had to replace a valve but the top ring is seized and my compression is down 50% on that cylinder. The car still runs fine but we are gonna tear it down and put some dome pistons in it and a bigger cam, bump the comp up to 16-1. I'd like to have the car run low 5's on motor. Which would be pretty good for a small block. I'm also gonna add a 175 shot of the juice just for fun.:evilsmile Here's a link to some video we shot at Carolina this weekend.. http://riporter.neptune.com/index.html?selectedalbum=riporter210471
Aw, c'mon, Rick. Just go ahead and do the 2-stage 500 kit. Looks great btw. Sounds like next year is gonna be even more funner!
