airgap quick question

    74 302 blown- 68 Shelby Gt 500- 69 Cougar XR7 428 ram air
    I have an airgap intake but need the heater hose elbow that goes into it, right behind the t-stat housing. Anyone know of a source.

    You can use a staight one. It doesn't have to be an elbow. You can get them at any autoparts store, in the Help section.

    yeah.. is just a standard 1/2 npt outlet, is all. Like stroker said.. they are available most anywhere.

    Personally, I prefer the elbows(usually polished aluminum or chrome) due to the low profile clean look they allow for hose routing. ;)

    EDIT.. lol.. that Joe Dirt guy sure is fast with his replies. I went upstairs.. came back down and quickly replied.. and he beat me to the line.

    I got mine at a scrap metal yard. They have a piles of motors 10 feet high just sitting on the ground. They sold it to me for $0.25. I didn't have any change so he gave it to me instead of breakling a $20.
