Got my AJE Suspension. Everything fit great! Will have much more room in the engine bay now. Kit was fairly easy to install. Hardest part is cutting out the old sheet metal & welding shock towers. Not that hard but just saying. UPDATE: See post # 58 for the latest update posted 1-24-11.
Beautiful, would I LOVE to have rack and pinion steering, and coil overs. You will have the GREAT looks of our Maverick's and the ride and handling of today, NICE
Looks great! how much was it? Does it include the brakes in the basic kit? If not can you bolt up the stock ones on there?
I didn't weigh anything but AJE said it will save about 100 lbs. I am pretty confident that it saved at least that much. This stuff is a lot lighter than what came off the car.
3500.00 with the Wilwood brakes. Not sure how much without the brakes. Pretty sure you can use your own brakes though.
Do you have a link to the kit on their site? Is it Mav specific, or is it for a late model Mustang? I was thinking about getting one of the Mustang kits from A.R.T. and adapting it to the Mav.
They don't have the Mav kit listed on their site. Just call them. The kit has been adapted to the Mav. They now have the bugs worked out. This kit fit very well. Good luck.
Just got the same kit from them, its nice!! The coolest part about it, is the spindle ride hight is adjustable, you can lower it up to 3 1/2 inches!!!!!!!!
