Wow, so it turns out I haven't posted around these parts in a few years. Sorry about that, don't mean to be disappearing haha. Surprised to see my account is still in tact lol. Anyway so I've got my Comet, i bought it in Arizona with the intention of restoring it back to factory with a few modern safety features in place (drum to disc brakes, maybe four-lug to five-lug wheels). Well I rear-ended someone in Az shortly before I moved up here to Wa (luckily neither of us was hurt). "Comet" (yes, I named my Comet, Comet) took the brunt of it; smashed the radiator, busted up the hood, but it overall has...survived this. It's got other issues but it is still alive and kickin' today (pretty good for a forty year-old car). It's still got mostly original parts (numbers matching straight-six, new after-market carb). Anyway, I'm unemployed at the moment (one of the reasons I moved up here anyway) but on the back burner I still have this Comet I want to finish. Ultimate goal is for it to be a daily driver. It's not trying to be a showroom car, race car, or anything like that. But I just want it to look good. Anyway I'm rambling, but does anyone know of a good, reputable shoppe I can use in the Vancouver area for my interior and exterior body work/upholstery? I mean it's not something I am doing right now, but it is something I want to keep in the back of my mind and all, for when I can get some actual income coming in.

Oh, let me post some pics of the car (if you lived in the Phoenix. Az area over the past few years, I'm sure you've seen this car around town bah a a ha ha). The pic in my sig here is before the accident in Az, then the next two pics below are of what it looked like right after, then after my mechanic helped me out to get it back to "drive-able". (I had some pics here but they keep posting sideways despite my turning them to the right so I scratched them out).

I had some other pics of the motor, and the new aluminum radiator that was installed after the accident, but my phone doesn't seem to want to finish e-mailing those, so I guess I will upload those 2morrow, or some other day when my phone wants to cooperate haha.

Anyway, good to be back posting on here, and hope we can all share many more cool & awesome stories about our favourite cars.
