before the '77 goes off to Maverick heaven , i thought i would snap this shot of all three Maverick generations. small bumper, medium, and big bumper. the really sad thing is that i put some gas in the tank of the '77, stuck a battery on it and drove it off of the trailer for this picture it's almost a shame to part it out untill i look at the framerails.... but anyways, he's some pics... and in this picture, you can also notice all three different styles of mirrors that came on our cars...
or weld in new ones, that car has everything to be a stallion styled mav and looks really clean overall....
yeah, there's a Canadian guy that has -73 & 74 302 "Real" Grabbers- that he should bring down for even more parts
Hey come on, one's from California, and the other is British Columbia, and the new one is from Tennessee....
Dave....if it is just the frame rails....I would save the car. That is an area that once the repairs are made.....totally invisible for the most part. Plus....no bondo required. If the rest of the car is solid......save it!!!
cool pic. i agree with the others, you should just fix it. if it was a comet i could understand parting it out, but this is a maverick and it deserves to be fixed
well it needs both rear rails, the rear support brace that runs from one frame rail to the other, rear bumper inner structure, trunk pan, both front floors and toeboards, one partial torque box on passenger side, the whole complete torque box on the driver's side, dr. side fender and dr. door..... rust pictures from underneath.... http://s70.photobucket.com/albums/i82/mean_maverick/77%202dr/rust%20pictures/
honestly, im gonna sale some parts off of it and wait around for another 76 or 77 body and just use everything on another car. that way, ill be saving everything i can from it and it'll make a nice 6cylinder driver
