alternator regulation question.

    i installed an alternator from a 1995 escort. it fits well but i have a question. it the alternator internally regulated? i think it is but before i cook something, i thought i would ask.

    It's internally regulated.

    awesome. so i hooked the 2 small wires to a switched source and ran the larger wire to a fuse and then to the batt. and that's it. i now have 14.4 volts consistently.

    is this right?
