has anyone done this? it looks as though the crossmember will need modfication. what all is involved? I just got an AOD for $35 so I want to put that in for the overdrive. what all needs to be modified for this to work?

we're curious if you got your bugs worked out on the gear venders overdrive? I really like the way my C4 shifts, but I would like the overdrive. are you hooking yours up to a C4?

Yes...got the Gear Vendor worked out...:thumbs2:
we don't know what we did to correct it . only thing we found that wasn't right was the govenor was stuck in the C4 tailshaft. my transmission guy said that wouldn't cause it to do what it was doing...
the G.V. is about 200 more RPMs than the AOD but it can take full power without slipping...:chirp:

it's a late model Sanden compressor w/custom brackets... it started out like the one Earl has on his car. an A/C shop in Atlanta (that deals with a lot of Hot Rods) ordered his kit and installed it.
