I'm going to be getting a 200/3spd Mav to make a driver out of.I also have a 3spd w/OD,it's the single rail overdrive w/the internal shifter.Supposed to be out of an early '80s mustang(v8).How hard would this be to hook up to the stock 200 bell?Could I retain the factory type clutch z bar & stuff or would it require going to a cable type clutch?I know these trannies have a pretty high overdrive,so I've also got a 3.55 gear to go out back.Anyone done this, and BTW,I need a shifter for it.Will a t-5 shifter work or does it need to be specific to this trans?

I had one in my last driver. Loved it but there is 2 different length inputs.

To use an SROD in an earlier bell, you need a 1" spacer between the two. Or find an SROD/Tremec bell. The input is about an inch longer on the 79-up transmissions.
