Haven't been on in awhile, winter time I ussually stay inside insted of working on cars, but came accross a good deal this week, got a '74 Comet GT 250 six, 3 speed manual, manual steering, been wanting one with this drive train for sometime now, had to drive halfway accross the state but it was worth it, body is in pretty good shape, mechanicaly sound, need a muffler and has some odd ball shackles on the rear leaf springs. I'll post pics first thing in the morning cause I just now got home (9:47 pm) Look forward to fixin her up with my other '75 Comet n '74 Maverick Oh got a free 302 with it too!!
Here we go, was snowing half the morning so right, rust in ussual spots but overall very solid, did a oil change n carb adjustment and got her running somewhat good, has strait pipe so needs a muffler. Those shackles on the back have got to go, I mean it don't sag but can't be good either for that matter. Also, does anyone know how to overide the shift lock on these things, having to be in reverse to turn the key is rather irritiating.
