I was hoping to get another outing to the track this year, but it's not going to happen. I went out a few weeks ago to test out the 3.80 gears and the spool, and took 4 tenths off my previous best(which was on slicks and an open 3.40 gearset), without using the slicks! New best ET/MPH is 13.345 @ 103.57mph. I made another trip a couple weeks later, but didn't heat the slicks up enough on the first run (spun the tires) and then threw the alternator belt on the 2nd run - a 13.78 @ 101. Decided against making another run, because I needed to make it home (after stopping by the parts store to pick up an alternator belt  ). Some interesting results, we'll see what next year brings.

Yup, get that 60' to around 1.7ish and you'll be knocking MORE 'tenths' off.

p.s. come to Houston - racing year round (even have an event called "The New Year's Hangovers").

Matt it sounds to me like all you need to do is get to the track with everything on the car for racing(slicks) and you'll be where you want to be after some tweeking, keep at it bud :)
