another what is correct question

So, I have a 72 Grabber that is 6E yellow with a orange side side with a orange red outer stripe. The body yellow is applied so now on to the stripes. What is the correct color combination, etc. of the Grabber word in the stripe? I looked through the gallery and it looks like the Grabber word was a cutout so the body color shows through unless they were two tone stripes and then the outer stripe color outlines with word that is cutout. Was the outer color a decal on top of the decal or inside the cutout? It has been really hard to even find the right colors for the stripe combo.

I looked through all of my Grabber pics. I don't have that combo.
I have yellow with green stripes. White with dark yellow/red stripes.
No yellow with orange/red stripes.

The dark yellow/red is probably the same as what I am calling orange/red. Any of those 72 two tone colors should be what I need. I just need a picture focusing on the stripe. Most of the ones I could find has the cars more from angles and from a distances. The gallery pictures don't zoom that well for me. Thanks!

 

The Grabber word is screen printed on the 2-color '72 stripes and matches the outer pinstripe. I couldn't put my hands on a good picture of that color combo though.

 

Mine was originally that color combo. It is solid yellow now but the stripes are still inside the door. they are orange stripe w/ red pinstripe, the tailite panal was also orange. I have never been able to find a good picture. Must not have been very popular but maybe rare now!

Exactly what I was thinking, thank you. You can email them to me at maverickdvm@yahoo.com or mail them to me. I think I have the color stripe colors figured out, but more pictures are helpful. I have the 72 Sherwin Williams Ford stripe colors, I am still going back and forth between the red and the orange red for the outer color. From the pictures I have, it is on a white car so it looks different than the pictures I have of this yellow car around the door edge. At least I don't have to worry if the side marker lights should blink or not.

 

There was one that showed up to the MCCI Roundup Nationals the first year in Owensboro, KY. It was white with orange and red stripes. Had Magnum 500 wheels on it. It was not in the show....it was for sale. Anybody have good pictures of it?
