Does anybody have their car painted in color code #7 - Anti Establish Mint green? I'd like to see some pictures if you have them. Thanks.
My grandma's Mav was anti-establish mint green (She's like 90 and still remembers her Mavericks and that specific color-she still laughs about the name). Her friend was a Ford dealer and she says that she bought the first Maverick sold in Denver, CO, a 1969.5. I have a few pics but they are low quality and old. It's like a forest green. I'll scan them in tomorrow and post them anyways.
That's a cool story about your Grandma having the first Maverick. If you have a picture, that would be great. I've been looking at the color chips, but would like to see one of a car.
Here's a site with paint chips http://autocolorlibrary.com/cgi-bin/search/searchpic.pl?1970-ford-pg01.jpg Russ
Thanks Russ, I do like that site - use it all the time. I've actually got a full set of the 1970 chips, I was just looking for some pictures to see what it looked like on a whole car.
That's fine, I needed a picture to jog my memory on what it looks like in person. Thanks again. It looks like that picture was taken during a stop at the outhouse in the background!
