I get Hot Rod magazine and always see the tour covered pretty well. Looks interesting, anyone on here ever done it? I remember seeing a maverick in one of the pics that was in the magazine.
i think drag week is by invite only. so what you would need to do is send hot rod an application or a request to be considered for drag week. i would love to ride shotgun on that week
I don't think I would be competitive because the NA small block classes put down some fast ET's. I would love to do that one year. They have the rules up on their website.
Don't the cars have to have a stock style front suspension? I don't think your strut front end would be legal. Or have they changed that requirement? I haven't looked at the rules in a while.
As far as I read my suspension would still be considered stock. But I would have to look into it some more. My main concern would be getting the time off to do it.
mo's front suspension is not strut. its coil over shock. a strut will be load bearing and should eliminate the upper control arm. mo's coil over bolts into the stock mounting locations of the shock.
Managed to get registered in time. Should be interesting this year. I'm curious as to how many of those damn Coyote cars show up for small block power adder. Probably why I'm putting bigger turbos on the car.
