Seems to be an ok guy. Translation is tough when I try to correspond with him.

I really wanted a set of hood hinges from him but there is no guarantee that he will give for them being bolt on. Maybe there is some loose in the translation.

I have never did make a purchase from him. The prices are high and the shipping is crazy.

$1250.00 shipped for the hinges. If you look at every picture of the hinges you will see the apron has been boxed out. Look at Topoliners build and were he had to modify his mounting areas. He insists that they will bolt on but are you willing to take a $1250.00 gamble?

It would be nice to have a connection that would ship parts from Brazil. I would really like to have set of those door panels I saw somewhere.

If I understood correctly, his hinges are modified 66 mustang hinges. He sources them, brings them into brazil, and modifies them for Mavericks.

If I understood his reply correctly.

After looking at the picture of his hinges on his website, you can definately see that he is covering up someone elses logo with his business cards.

Man I really would like to have a set of billet hinges. I am surprised that someone doesn't know a machinist that make these for us.

if they're really mustang hinges, take a look at the ringbrothers website. the hinges there look awfully close to these...

I would have to agree. Maybe 3 people would buy these. Simple supply and demand.

i have a billet 65-66 mustang one in my hands now. pictured on the right obviously.

as you can see side by side they are different. mustang ones the holes are further apart by a lot! i have no idea how it would work if this was "adapted". for one the holes are off. two holes would have to be re-drilled and also more meat would have to be added the base plate to add a hole further out. the hinge part matches up. but is located in the wrong position. which in turn would make the hood close wrong. the thickness also matches up pretty close.

it might be possible to just re-drill the holes in the fender to make them work. i would have to look closer when i have the car out.

i also have a 67-68 one too but that is way to huge! no way would it even fit between the shock tower and fire wall.

What do you think would be a price that would make maverick owners interested in purchasing a set?

    Well...you asked. :D

I would say less than $100.
