Anybody ever considered Metalcast?

    For awhile now I've had a can of the blue duplicolor Metalcast sitting around and just before winter hit I broke it out on the parts car's bumper.

    And I LOVE IT. Next year all the chrome on my daily driver is getting done. I didn't even surface prep at all and it adhered insanely well. 2 or 3 coats and look what I got. I just don't know how much is going to end up "chromed" blue... I've got my eye on a chrome valve cover after all....[​IMG]

    Im not sure how well it is going to hold up to the UV light curious to see what it will look like in a few months

    Me too. It'll get smacked around this winter. Might offer some insight.

    I got that stuff on my puter case.... Well mine is the krylon xtreme metals or something like that...
