Well, the roundup is next week and I'm scrambling to get things ready on my '73. The motor is in the car and all I have left is to go through the carb. We'll see if I'm ready. If not, I might be driving...:16suspect...a Beretta.

Let see here, if it was up in the air between a Beretta and a Mav, I think I would be working day and night to get that Mav ready. :)

I thought I was just about ready...then last Saturday I discovered that my windshield was not as watertight as it was supposed to be and I ended up with 2" of water on the floorboards. I had to take the seats out, carpet...padding. I just got the call from the shop and they finally got the leaks taken care of. I should have plenty of time to get everything back in place for the trip :D I definitely didn't want to be pulling the interior out this close to the Roundup...

I will be passing through on the way to a family reunion. All I will have is my "Maverick" Hemi-1500 (y) , loaded down with junk, and a laptop with my REAL maverick website on it. I will be the only one there with a "portable Maverick"

Yep...I gotta get my new seat belts in and I need to finish my disk brake install. I still have to put on my disc brake master cylinder on along with my d/b proportioning valve. That drum brake master cyl just doesn't cut the mustard any more. I've also got a new set of front performance shocks I'll put on if I have the time but they aren't a real big issue.
See you guys Thursday night one way or another.
Can't wait to see that Beretta Maverick!!! :hmmm:

I'm ready to rock and roll!!! I'm packed and waiting to hear from Dennis what time we are starting our journey. Sunday I am going to Ozzfest and Monday is my birthday so I will continue the party. I don't have to go back to work till the end of August. All the bills are paid. I'm loving life.
