The Mustangs Parts stores sells several different shades of Tan interior paint for several different year Mustangs. Anyone know which color is correct (if any) for a Maverick ... the Tan used in LDO interiors? I need to repaint my interior doors ... Thanks ..
Have you tried here: http://autocolorlibrary.com/cgi-bin/search/searchpic.pl?1970-ford-pg02.jpg This is just for 1970 so you can change your year.
My 74 Gold Mav has tan interior. Is there a paint number somewhere on my car I could look at to help ya'll out? I think it is an LDO but not sure clint
As I recall, the PPG color chips have the color codes on the back of the sheet, or maybe at the bottom of the page. (No color chips, just text with the numbers).
Dan, the guy at the Roundup with that copper/metallic Maverick with the white painted top had tan interior. His doors looked pretty good. Maybe he knows a color code-maybe his are not original? Seth
I have a 1973 PPG color index It has a lotta info on the back. If someone wants a copy faxed to them, email me at Black396ss@aol.com and put "Comet interior color" in the subject. It has the Ditzler code for the colors CR
Dan, you can take a small piece of the color you need to a auto paint store and they can match it up. Same with dye.
