Pretty nice car - just missing the hood stripe but sweet job done on the restoration: http://www.chooseyouritem.com/classics/files/65000/65133.html
If it had the factory colr air intake hose and duct I would buy it for $12,900. but since it is missing I will have to pass
It just wouldn't be the same. You know, the numbers won't be matching. Darnit and I really wanted to get it too. No sense in buying the best Maverick in the country if you have to turn even one screw on it.
Ryan - I see you painted your engine compartment black. I am thinking about doing the same in a red car. Were there any issue painting it black and installing the engine prior to the paint job? I am putting together a project plan and would rather do the engine, tranny, undercarriage, etc, prior to painting ... Thanks for the input.
Ihad no problems with painting and installing the engine before paint. I took the car to a good body shop and they loosened the fenders to mask them off from the inner fenderwells. Only hard part is trying not to scratch the inner fenderwells while doing the spark plugs
He definately is on crack, or just misinformed. Dennis i think you may have to email him pics of your car. His is NOT the best in the land. lolol haha -Todd
