anyone seen hotwheels paintjob maverick?

    wondering if the Hotwheels paint job(logos,flames etc) has ever been done to a street mav thinkin it might be a fun play on things. Mattel gas cap hotwheels logos on front 1/4 panels nice set of wheels a little metal flake in the paint? anyone seen anything like this if so let me see what you find.im seriously considering this even with all the s*** il probably get for it.

    I've seen the stripes before on a car down in brazil. It was gross.

    Yes, there is a guy that used to be on here a lot that has his black with red flames, and hot-wheels logo on it. In fact, it was on the front page when I logged in just now.

    1972 Maverick Grabber - Color: Orange Also, 1976 Ford Maverick 4-door, 1977 Mercury Comet 2-door.

    Car was actually dark blue. The car has now been parted out I believe, as the leaf springs shot up thru the trunk going over a railroad track and he sold it (had a heck of a motor in it...car itself was full of bondo and not worth fixing). He has since gone on and bought another Maverick. He is NEVER on here as he doesn't have a computer.

    I met him at that maverick meet in owensboro WAY back. Don't remember much about him but I remember the car.

    I just assumed he was an active member on here.

    Hate to hear that the car got junked. Not my style, but it was a nice looking car and well done.
