I've been searching for an AOD tag decoder but haven't found one. Found answers to questions on specific transmission IDs but not a general decoder or table.

I picked up an AOD yesterday with this tag.

    PKB AE1
    068112 B27
    E9TP PB

From the specific decode examples, I think this is out of either an '89 or '90 F150.

    Can anyone confirm that?

Is this a good choice to swap into the the Maverick? Might have a longer tail shaft and housing?

Seller says it has about 80K on it, has been inspected and resealed and works well. If all that is true, think it was a good deal. Came with new (stock) TC, shifter and cable, TV cable, dip stick, cross member, block plate and drive shaft for $250. If its just a rebuildable core I don't think its a bad deal.

Does it have the hole for the speedo gear?
I'll look for the info I have saved.

Great. Thanks. :Handshake The salvage yard wrote "F150" in marker on the trans so guess that's it.

Not a problem, i saw your thread while i was on lunch and went and had someone run the # for me, as long as the part is 85 up i can usually find out, anything older than that requires a micro-phish, i dont think our parts department has one of those. :)
