aod install

    im swapping an aod int my 73 mav and ive nailed down everything i need except do i have to use the aod slip yoke or will my c4 slip yoke work? ive searched on here and some say aod and some dont.

    1972 mercury comet with a maverick front end. It has a 1992 5.0 motor in it.
    All i can say is that i had an aod in mine for a while and i use the same driveshaft with the same yoke. I didn't change anything.

    I used the same as C-4...you could pull your driveshaft and see if it fits...:yup:
