Tell me about why you decided to change to an AOD.
Tell me what you are going to use the car for and what kind of HP you expect from the engine.
I don't have any pics of an AOD in a 70 Maverick but it is going to be a tight fit I think.

I'm going to change 302cid engine to a car, and C4 what is now in car is broken. I have intact AOD so i think it would be good to put it in the car, same time i change engine

    Trexem,
If the AOD is one of the latest AODs (91-92 it should be fine with a stock 302 if you have some low gears in your car. The AOD has a .67 OD ratio which means if you have the stock gearing of 3.0:1 you will be running an overall ratio of 2.0:1 in OD.
This is not good for power or fuel economy. You can keep the AOD from going into OD manually and it will operate like the C4 with a locking converter - a good option if you want to keep your stock gearing.
The swap to the AOD will include a new crossmember, a Lokar cable and bracket kit, a shorter driveline (sometimes), a new yoke for the driveline (sometimes), a new flex plate, and possibly some sheet metal work to the transmission tunnel. The AOD doesn't have a vacuum modulator so it uses a throttle pressure valve (which is what the Lokar cable is for) that must be adjusted properly to provide the correct pressure to fully engage the clutches and bands in the transmission. If it is not properly adjusted then the AOD can burn up completely in less than a week. You will need to run Mercon V fluid in the AOD - it is designed for the high carbon friction materials used. I wish you luck with the swap.

    Thanks,
Largest thing that i'm worried is fitting in Tranny tunnel, cause i don't want brake car too much ;)
