I am restoring my 73 2-dr Maverick. I have been able to find most of the parts I need but I am looking for new arm rests for the doors. Does anybody know of anyone who makes/sells them? Thanks.

Are yours broken? If they just look a little rough you can use spray vinyl dye on them from the auto parts store. Made mine look like new again.

You need the long ones or the short ones? Is this an LDO car?

No one makes reproduction arms rests, of either style.

What color of rests do you need too? Need some more info. I know where there is a 73, blue interior, seats looked good too as did a bunch of other things. PM me if this looks like a match--but it maybe til spring before I could look into it more--snowed in up here.

I have a pair of the long ones I'm never going to use. Decent shape, but need to be dyed unless your interior is emerald green.

The original interior color of the car is blue. I am changing it to black. They are the long style armrests and are broken and need to be replaced. Attached is a picture of what the armrests and door panels look like in my car. This is a picture I found in the gallery. It doesn't matter what color they are, I'll be dying them black so that shouldn't be too hard. How much are you asking for the ones you have? 73_buckets.jpg

Ah, I'd send them for the cost of shipping, but they're the earlier style. Didn't realize '73 would already have the armrests with the grip at the top. Mine are just straight, but longer than most, which is what I think came on early LDO cars.
