Autolite 2100D vs Motorcraft 2150

    there is installed an Autolite 2100D carburator in my 71 4door Mav that I am trying to restore and I have heard some diferent opinion about it and about motorcraft 2150 could some pleas tell me wich one in better or less trouble to tune.:idea: Thank

    The Motorcraft 2150 carburetor came out in 1975. Probably heavy on emissions stuff, I would stay with the 2100.

    For a stock 302, I would look for a carburetor with a 1.08-1.14 sized venturis.

    There's also the Holley 2 bbl carbs out there too. Just me, but I'd go to a Holley, never had much luck with the Autolite 2 bbl.

    thanks for the info and sugestion i think I'll kepp the autolite 2100 until I can buy the holley, Best regards
