No offence to our cars but that's most likely the case...

no.. they just didn't have a good passing zone or wide enough corners to blow the Mav's doors off in the corners, is all. The Mav's might be light.. but that vette has a worldclass suspension underneath it.

And the little Lotus just plain bowed out and went wide to protect his paint. lol Plus, those little cars aren't all that fast to begin with anyways.. but when a maverick passes one on a corner?.. you know that somethings either not right with that car(tires?).. or that the driver isn't fully invested in winning the race. Because those little cars are like roller skates around the corners and is typically where they make up for their lack of speed down the straights(horsepower) in a race.

Still fun to watch.. and dream.. though. :)

Just by looking at that vette (c6r?) I highly doubt the driver is unskilled.

Don't forget our cars are light. That will help.

I'm with Hairy....................the guys in the Lotus and Vette looked more skilled than the guys in the Mavericks............and look hard at the first turn the white Maverick goes into.........pretty wide..........but I'm sure the Vette didn't want to change paint just to get inside................and I'm sure the Yellow Maverick had the edge HP wise on the Lotus. Put those 4 cars at Laguna Seca for 10/15 laps and I doubt the outcome would have our Mavericks out front......................I say this from a few years of road racing with the SCCA............................although it was cool.......................IMHO
