    ..I saw it on DVD last week for the first time in yrs.
    There are numerous shots of a basic '70-'72 light
    green Maverick. Some are pretty close up. I'm guessing
    it was no newer than '71.

    This movie is actually a Maverick fest. So far we have seen the green one with white strips. Also a solid blue one, brown and I think I caught sight of a vermillion one. Every parking lot scene has a Mav. You can even see them in the reflections of windows.

    I guess you guys are talking about the original one? I dont recall seeing any in the remake.
