Bryant and I will be racing on saturday 8/21. Starts at 6pm I believe. Bryant will have his motor back together and I should have my timing problem figured out by then. Hopefully I'll have some proper shoes for the car otherwise I'll be slipping all over the place again.

sac is a long drive from san diego. i think there is 4 or 5 tracks between here and there. some day i would like to do a tour of tracks.
any mavericks or comets should come out to barona on the 21st. we can make it a meet and race. they are having a nostalgia night. there will be lots of front motor dragsters, a few funny cars, and lots of fun.

we got to bryant's shop and I tried messing a little with my off idle stumble but wasn't able to make any changes. we ended up just testing a lot of nozzles and nothing worked. somehow the fuel pump died so we changed that. now at the drag strip I missed shifting into 3rd and was only 64mph and 10.4 seconds in the 1/8th mile

ok here are my numbers. we got the nitrous to work great, it was awesome, kicked in so strong with the manual tranny, I love it but I missed the shift and was spinning tires.

    60ft 2.288sec 64.2mph ET 10.45sec
    60ft 2.288sec 71.89mph ET 9.87sec
    60ft 2.38sec 67.59mph ET 10.25sec

    and finally with nitrous:
    60ft 2.48sec 73.17pmh ET 10.22sec

my best run was a 8.1 at 102mph with only a 2.2 60ft. my stall speed on the conveter is just too low. next big plan is to switch to a stick shift.
had lots of fun. lots of cars at barona, including a nitro altered that ran a 4.1 i think.

what all is done to your car and how much nitrous does it have. The mph reflects high 6's
