Battery Hold Down......

    Has anyone found a battery hold down that is not uglier than sin.... I have not found one that looks good.... eventually want to move the battery to the trunk but thats after I put the fuel cell in

    you know I never thought of making one for some reason..... and as much as I like that hold down from Jegs I am not willing to spend $90 on one..... thanks though

    i have a battery tray in the trunk that i bought at autozone. i bolted it to the floor, then ran some allthread to the top. when i put in the second battery i bent the tabs over and put both together in the center with allthread. i then got a piece of drilled flatstock from ace hardware and put all three allthreads through the drilled holes. looks pretty good with the 2 optima red top batteries. :)

    i have no idea how to take and post pictures. i'll try to figure it out as i just got the new engine going also. i'm lucky i can type on the computer.:confused:
