The only bad spot on my whole car is the battery tray, and the liner the tray bolts to. I seen that the whole piece actually comes off. I was wondering if anyone knows anybody who sells those/makes those pieces? Or if anything, the actual name of this piece I'm talking about, lol!

That's a nice looking battery tray. I will definitely be needing that. I'm also going to be needing the piece that whole assembly bolts to. Do you know the name of it so I can look it up online? To me, it looks like a fender liner. It has a few bolts and looks like it can be switched out. Here is a pic of it:

That is the front passenger apron. It is welded to the car...not bolted in.

My inner fender apron looked worse than that. They're not hard to patch with 18 gauge sheet metal.

Its easy fix. Doesnt even have to be pretty when your done. Batt and tray hide it anyhow.

I just welded mine up too. Mine had to be pretty though, the battery is going to the trunk. Not fun grinding those corners smooth.

Ahh, okay. Makes a LOT more sense to me now. Thanks for the pics, rthomas. I'll be adding that to the "to do" list now.

After I moved mine to the trunk I noticed mine was rotten also. Quick fix, Trimmed down a piece of black plastic to fit, a couple of bolts to hold in place, and you would never know. Light weight and almost stock looking. If you are not going to move the battery then you will never see it.
