Alternator looks low on that 200......I suspect that is why your car had that shroud we have been discussing.
Yeah ... guess it was low on the 200 ... will be high on the 302 ... FYI ... that box on the firewall where the window washer container should have been was an aftermarket cruise control that had been installed.
Yeah ... it's nice having something to show for alot of blood, sweat and $$$$ ... no tears yet. Here it is stickerized. My CAUTION FAN is MIA so gotta get another one ... FYI ... The shortblock, heads, radiator, fan shroud, valve covers, air cleaner, damper, flywheel, clutch kit, toploader tranny, posi-rear and the car itself were all purchased from eBay! My 73 Grabber interior was purchased from these boards.
Dan, These pics are so inspiring! Beauty of a job. What does your toploader come out of? Would you have the numbers for the Hurst shifter and the install kit that you used for it? Thanks, and good luck. John B.
Dan, Your car is looking great, I like the pulleys you went with. I have followed a very similar route you have as far purchasing parts. Alot off ebay and also from this board. Keep us posted with your progress. I can wait to see it all done. Allen Small PS are those pulleys available 3 and 2 groove, for air and power steering?
Thanks for the compliments. Here are the pulleys I went with. Ordered them from JEGS. They have different combos to support A/C and P/S as well. I bought the single Groove set and it looks really clean. http://www.marchperf.com/pg33.html The TopLoader was originally in a 65 Mustang Shelby (not sure if original or not). It is just a Competition Plus shifter with a Mustang mounting kit. I have no idea what the part # is because it came with the tranny.
