bell housing part#

    can any one list the bell housing / clutch fork casting # that will work for a 302 into a 1970 mav. ???? or maybe what model / years will work???

    '70 Maverick Grabber
    Any of the 6-bolt, 157-ring gear teeth bellhousings will work. 3-speed, 4-speed, 250 I6, 289-302 V8. I'm running a Lakewood in mine.

    I'm running a 164 tooth in my 71 Grabber ... As long as you get matching flywheel, bellhousing and backing plate you should be OK ...

    I have an entire 3-speed out of a 72 V8 Maverick .. I should have a chance to get the part number off the bellhousing tomorrow
