Belly Bar Location

    Belly Bar Location
    I'm just finishing up the V8 swap in my 70 Mav and when I went to install the belly bar, I realized that my car doesn't have the holes for the bar to bolt to. I should have thought about this sooner since I know the 302 wasn't an option in 70.

    Could someone give me some advice on how to locate the the correct placement of the mounting holes for the belly bar? If anyone has installed a belly bar in a 69.5 or 70 Maverick, I would really like to hear how you did it.

    The holes are there on my '69.5, and I bolted one right up on another '69.5 I put a 302 into.

    i just put my 302 into my 69.5 mav and they had the holes

    the holes are located next to the motor mounts toured's the fire wall on the bottom of the frame rails

    the car was a inline 6 3 speed on the tree
