    Went 6.7401@100mph
With a 1.4411 sixty foot. It was pulling hard.
Now I need to do some suspension tuning....these little tires a really showing themselves right now.
I still think its got alot in it.....those 60' times are right were I was with the old motor running 6.55's :)

yes, having fun again is right....my only REAL issue is trying to keep the starter from coming lose....thats aggrevating
Not sure what tire I am going to try....I am going to get my chassis guy to go with me to the track and get the suspension worked out....hopefully that will fix everything, but if it is a tire issue.....I will have to do some research.

Went to WH....had a blast, great track with great people. Had a long talk with Mr. Stone (Tom aka MAXX LEVELL's dad) talk to the camera guy (sorry I forget his name) Rocketman, Phillip and a few others.....everybody I walked by kept saying "hey, theres the maverick guy" :) Talked to the driver of the yellow tubbed maverick...real nice gal and man can she drive!
Did not do good in eliminations...but heck, my rusty butt racing against these folks that been doing it all year...lost in the 2nd round:
my .053 reaction time to my opponents .005 put me on the trailer. :yup:

Didn't you have problems with the starter coming loose on the last engine?

john, can you put a longer bolt on the starter and a nut with a lockwasher? how about some locktite? :) wh is a neat place. almost makes me want to move back there. photo guy is ususally don fogle or donnie hagan. i just ordered 2 pictures from each of them from the roundup. they do awesome work and the prices are great. if anyone wants pics from the drags at the roundup, they'd look good on your wall. i got 11x14's and 10x15's. they'll always remind me of my first roundup.:)

How about building a support strap from the front of the starter?
