I was just wondering if it is possable to drop a 300 cu.in. "6" into a 71 mav? Also the car now has an automatic trans, so I would like to keep that. Fred

Fred, do you need a 300 ci six and 3 speed tranny? I have one in my 76 ford van. Thinking of parting the rust bucket out. The six is really nice!;)

Lot's of trouble to fit the 300. OTOH, if you are not looking to go V8, check out www.fordsix.com/forums Lot's of good info there on the small and big sixes.
