I'm doing a black/red theme on my 1977 Big Bumper 2-Door Maverick, I was wondering if anyone has blacked out the tailpanel on their BB car, and if you did, do you have a pic or what did you think?

Stallions have blacked out tailpanels. Just depends on what you like.

I'm sure the 74 & 75 Grabbers that had black accent stripes, also had black tail light panels. In my opinion, if your going to paint it black, make it gloss. Flat black just looks like primer and is a bitch to clean.

I have the same opinion of flat black...
But gloss is too much IMO.
I use a semi-flat on my trim. It is the same thing the factory used on black trim parts.
